Subscribers’ Frequently Asked Questions

The longer you’ve subscribed with us, the earlier you can order and receive your tickets. Subscribers have been grouped according to the number of years subscribed: 8 or more seasons, 4-7 seasons and 1-3 seasons. Be sure to place your order by your group’s deadline to receive the best seats possible. If you are unsure what group you are in, call Ticket Services at 610-758-2787.

Why are we in groups?
By seating subscriptions in groups (based on your longevity as a subscriber), you will receive your tickets much earlier than if we seated all orders at once. If, when you receive your tickets, you’d like to make changes, you will have many more seats from which to select since fewer subscriptions will have been seated at this time. This plan also allows Ticket Services to focus on fewer subscribers at a time, therefore giving better service to everyone.

What happens if I miss my seating date?
If you happen to miss your designated date for seating priority, you should subscribe as soon as you can. You will still receive better seats than the general public, but they may not be as good as what you could have received if you placed your order on or before your group’s seating date.

How do you decide where to seat me?
If you have a specific seating request (beyond the section you select on the order form), please include a note with your order detailing the request. We will, as always, do our best to fulfill your request. If we cannot, we will give you seats that are closest to your request at the time we are filling your order.
SUBSCRIPTION TIP: Try to give us more than one seating preference or a brief explanation. We can serve you better if we understand your preferences. Examples: aisle seats, or within 6 seats of the aisle; I prefer sitting in the center even if I sit farther back; Seat me near an exit in the Grand Tier.

How can I be seated with my friends who are also subscribers?
The best way is to mail both order forms in the same envelope. If this is not possible, both orders should include a note to sit with the other. If you request to be seated with someone in a different renewal group, we will wait until the latter group’s seating period to seat all orders.

How can I buy additional tickets?
Single tickets will be on sale exclusively to all subscribers and Friends of Zoellner on July 21 with no additional handling fees. If you order these tickets with your subscripton (in the Additional Single Tickets section of the order form), they will be automatically seated on July 21.
SUBSCRIPTION TIP: If you want to buy an additional ticket to several events, it may be less expensive and more convenient to turn those additional tickets into a subscription of at least 5 events. Unsure of how it all works? Call Ticket Services and we’ll help you with your order.

If I can’t buy single tickets until July 21, how can my entire party sit together?
If you are purchasing single tickets to an event that you have in your subscription and we do not have seats available near your subscription seats, you have two choices: Move your subscription seats to keep your party together or keep your subscription seats where they are and put your additional ticket(s) as close to that location as possible. These options are listed in the Additional Single Tickets section of the order form.

Will I keep “my seats” from last year?
The earlier you order within your group, the more likely you are to get the seats you want. But because of our flexible create-your-own subscriptions, we are unable to guarantee a particular seat to any patron. Please note: subscribers who include contributions to Zoellner may have some priority in their group over those who do not.

Can I buy tickets to the gala with my subscription?
Yes, this benefit has not changed. The gala is Zoellner’s major fundraiser, so there is no additional discount, but subscribers can order single tickets to Gala2010 along with their subscriptions at the bottom of the order form.

Does the amount I contribute affect when I am seated?
It may. When it’s time to seat a group of orders, subscriptions (placed by the group’s deadline) will be prioritized by: 1st-number of seasons subscribed, 2nd-donation level, 3rd-date received. Subscriber longevity is still the #1 priority, but we also like to thank those who give charitible contributions.

Has the subscription size changed?
No. The requirement is still a minimum of five different events.
